It’s Friday night, and you have had a long week. Nothing sounds better than enjoying a bit of delicious and relaxing CBD vape juice while you watch a movie, play video games, or listen to some music. Your CBD experience may vary depending on which type of CBD your vape juice is made with, however. Learn about the different types of CBD in vape juice below.

What Are the Benefits of Vaping CBD?

Some people prefer to eat CBD gummies, use CBD tinctures, or use CBD topically. These are all great options, and each comes with their own sets of pros and cons.

Vaping CBD provides a much faster route for CBD to enter your blood stream, as CBD can get absorbed much more quickly through the lungs than through the digestive system. As a result, many people feel the effects of CBD from vaping within 15 to 30 minutes.

Other methods, such as eating CBD products, can take multiple hours to feel the desired effects, though they do tend to provide effects for a longer duration.

Full Spectrum CBD

Full spectrum CBD contains many of the other compounds found in cannabis plants. This may not initially sound like a benefit, but plenty of research supports the idea of the entourage effect. The entourage effect is where one compound works much better in the body, or provides more benefits, when it is in the presence of other compounds that are present in the whole cannabis plant.

Some people worry about full spectrum CBD containing tetrahydrocannabinol THC, as these products do contain small traces of the psychoactive substance. Federal law requiers CBD products to contain less than 0.3% THC, which is not enough to produce the psychoactive effects it does when smoking or consuming other marijuana products.

Many people actually prefer full spectrum CBD because it also contains compounds called terpenes. Terpenes give plants a unique scent and flavor, and may people enjoy vape juice that tastes more floral or herbacious.

Broad Spectrum CBD

Broad spectrum CBD, like full spectrum, contains many of the same additional compounds natural to cannabis plants. The main difference between broad and full spectrum CBD products is that broad spectrum CBD does not contain any THC.

This makes broad spectrum more appealing to those who want to avoid THC, as even the low concentrations in full spectrum CBD may show up on a drug test. At the same time, broad spectrum CBD still may provide some of the other health benefits that full spectrum does, as it can also produce the entourage effect due to the presence of the other compounds.

Broad spectrum CBD often still has terpenes too, so it is a great choice for those who want a more earthy flavor in their CBD products.

CBD Isolate

Just like it sounds, CBD isolate is pure CBD that does not have any of the other compounds that are naturally occurring  in cannabis plants. CBD isolate is a great choice for people who want vape juice that contains absolutely no THC and desire a more pure product.

CBD isolate is commonly found in vape juice that has fun, less earthy flavors, as the terepens may make sweeter flavors taste less appealing. Some people also prefer to try CBD isolate to see if CBD is the component that actually reduces their pain or helps them sleep, or if other components in full spectrum or broad spectrum CBD produce better results.

It All Comes Down to Preference

As long as you purchase your CBD products from a trusted retailer that undergoes third-party testing, it does not matter too much which form of CBD comes in your vape juice. If you prefer to vape CBD juice that has sweeter flavors and doesn’t contain any THC, CBD isolate may be the best choice for you.

If you want to get the benefits that the entourage effect can provide, broad spectrum and full spectrum CBD may be a better choice, though keep in mind that full spectrum may contain enough THC to show up on drug tests.

No matter which form you choose, you will still gain many of the helpful benefits CBD has to offer, such as better sleep, reduced anxiety, and less pain.
